What's the Greatest Kit Ever Made?
We all have our favorite kit. Mine would be the old Revell S Martin B57 bomber, as it was the first kit I attempted as a kid ( yes, I am that old).  Not much compared to what you can buy today, box scale, not too much detail, but lots of fun. And believe it or not, they just re-issued this kit. I'll have to build it again.

I run my modeling business under the name Baron von Plastic. I've been selling for years on Ebay under the seller id baronvonplastic, and have had a lot of fun with it. I'm not the world's leading expert on kits and models, but I have been building, collecting and selling for over 40 years- and I still learn something new everyday, and also learn everyday how much I don't know!

I thought that it was about time to launch a general discussion area for plastic and wooden model kit builders. Other than a few local IPMS clubs, there are very few ways for modelers to "gather" and discuss such things as what they are working on,  help needed with a construction problem, questions about parts or kit availablity, or anything else on their minds . This might be a great place to post helpful hints and other items of interest. So let's give it a try, and see where this goes!

Help me out with suggestions and ideas as to how to improve this blog, and I'll get on it.
